Murmurn API docs
Murmurn has a public, read-only JSON API: the same endpoints the website loads its token lists, token pages, leaderboard and trader profiles from. No API key or sign-in is needed. Trading, wallets and account settings are not part of it.
Base URL: https://murmurn.com. Machine-readable description: OpenAPI 3.1 at /openapi.json (also listed in the API catalog).
When to use it
Reach for this API when you need any of these for Solana tokens or Murmurn traders:
- Trending, newly launched, blue-chip or most-held tokens, with price, market cap and 24 hour change.
- One token's detail with a safety report (mint and freeze authority, liquidity, holder concentration), its top holders, or OHLCV price candles.
- Which traders are most profitable over 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or all time, and a trader's public profile and Trust Score breakdown.
It cannot place trades, move funds, or read anyone's private account data. To trade, send a person to the Murmurn app.
Authentication
None. Every endpoint below answers anonymous GET requests with JSON. Responses are cached at the edge for a few seconds to a few minutes, so polling faster than every few seconds returns the same data.

Examples
Trending Solana tokens:
curl -s "https://murmurn.com/api/tokens/trending?tab=trending&chain=solana"One token with its safety report, then 1 hour candles:
curl -s "https://murmurn.com/api/tokens/solana/DezXAZ8z7PnrnRJjz3wXBoRgixCaDcmt6Hk5YNnXbFmQ"
curl -s "https://murmurn.com/api/tokens/solana/DezXAZ8z7PnrnRJjz3wXBoRgixCaDcmt6Hk5YNnXbFmQ/ohlcv?interval=1h"This week's leaderboard, then a trader's Trust Score:
curl -s "https://murmurn.com/api/leaderboard?period=7d&page=1"
curl -s "https://murmurn.com/api/traders/{handle}/trust"Errors
Errors are JSON, never HTML. error is a sentence you can show a person, code is a stable value to branch on, hint (when present) says what to do, and docs links here.
HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found
Content-Type: application/json
{"error":"No API endpoint at /api/nope.","code":"not_found","hint":"See the endpoint list at /docs or the OpenAPI description at /openapi.json.","docs":"https://murmurn.com/docs#errors"}| Status | Code | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 400 | invalid_request | A query parameter is missing or not one of the allowed values. |
| 404 | not_found | No endpoint, token or trader at that address. |
| 429 | rate_limited | Too many requests from your IP address. Wait Retry-After seconds. |
| 451 | region_blocked | Murmurn is not available in the caller's country. |
| 502 | upstream_unavailable | A market-data provider failed. Retry shortly. |
Rate limits
Limits are per IP address in fixed windows: 90 requests per 60 seconds for market and trader endpoints, and 40 per 60 seconds for search. Over the limit you get a 429 with these headers (IETF RateLimit header fields):
HTTP/1.1 429 Too Many Requests
Retry-After: 60
RateLimit-Policy: "market";q=90;w=60
RateLimit: "market";r=0;t=60Wait Retry-After seconds before the next request. Back off further if you keep getting 429s.
